School’s In on the block! Building container structures to house our new school.
Here's ONE reason why jobs and schools are A solution:
TIME MANAGEMENT! IT'S SIMPLE! If you're BUSY somewhere for 8-10 hrs everyday doing something, that has the potential of improving your life, you will go there.
You may have about a 2 hr commute there and back. So now we're at 10-12 hrs out of 24 occupied. Then let's say you have to do some sort of homework and that's another 2-3 hrs. We're now at 12-15 hrs of 24 occupied. Then there's dinner 45 minutes to an hour, maybe?
That puts us at potentially 16 hrs of a 24 hour period, spoken for. Wait, then you have to sleep, right? To do it all over again? That's another 6-8 hours, which is now your whole day.
You've went from 24 hrs of opportunities to murder or be murdered, to no more than 4 hrs everyday.
Sometimes it's just about that. NOT HAVING ANYTHING TO DO. WITH NO MONEY AND NO HOPES OF GETTING ANY CREATES KILLERS.
THIS is just one of the reasons why JOBS AND SCHOOLS are ONE of the solutions!
How do I know this? BECAUSE WE EXPERIMENTED WITH IT AND IT WORKED! And so did other groups around the country!
It's NOT a coincidence that we're building a SCHOOL!!!!! That's just one solution! But NONE of them are easy, because this problem is not! It's going to take work to fix this. LOTS OF IT!
The question is: Are we really willing to do it?
We certainly are!
