Yesterday was PHENOMENAL!!! To say I love progress is most definitely and understatement. To see Black people buying meat and produce from a Black farmer was the realization of so many of our dreams.
We often complain about how quickly our dollars leave our community.
We often complain about food deserts.
We often complain about how other people come into our communities and exploit us.
Yesterday we didn't talk about it.
We did something about it, and we're going to keep doing something about. Addressing the issues in our communities isn't something we should just be doing on holidays or a few times a year. It should become the every day, new normal.
We still have veggies and things and we'll be out on Wednesday for all of you last minute shoppers. Come see us!
